Slab selection
Feature: Using full slab displays, our showroom has the most expansive and curated color palette of quartz mineral surfaces, all selected by industry leading designers. Our collection of natural and sintered stone including marble, granite, dolomite, limestone, quartzite, porcelain, and Dekton, allows us to complete any project, whether horizontal or vertical.
Benefit: Rather than basing your decision off a small sample, our full-size slab collection allows you to see, feel, and choose the exact material that will be engineered for your home.
Digital Measurement
Feature: World Stone utilizes digital templating, the most accurate countertop measurement system available today. This streamlined and precise process will create a digital file of your countertops that will be accessible for our CAD programming team by utilizing cloud-based technology.
Benefit: Other than being the most precise measuring instrument for countertops, if you intend to keep your existing cabinets, digitization allows us to collect our measurements with your existing countertops still in place. This way, you won’t lose your counters until the day of installation. If your project includes new cabinets, we will digitize once they are in place to ensure accuracy.
Digital Nesting
Feature: Once you have selected your material and we have collected all digital measurements, we will take an SLR image of your slab and overlay it with the digital template from your home. At this stage, our programmers carefully plan the layout, ensuring that patterns, veins, or color variations in your slab are cohesive across all countertop pieces, creating a more consistent and aesthetically pleasing look of your finished project.
Benefit: This unique stage in the production process is not only the best way to achieve natural flowing seams, but it also allows us to decide where each individual portion of the slab will rest in your home, resulting in the most uniform overall look.
Manufacturing
Feature: Utilizing 4.0 industrial processing, we incorporate tool pre-setter machines to establish exact tool geometry data so all of our 5-axis CNC machining centers can produce the highest level of finished product, throughout our entire manufacturing facility, without having to touch it by hand.
Benefit: Essentially, the cutting, shaping, and processing of your countertops is completed entirely by machines in order to ensure the highest levels of precision and quality for your project. Also, this highly efficient process allows us to achieve the safest workplace for our employees by minimizing exposure to silica dust.
Installation
The final stage of our production process includes World Stone’s quality control system, in which we ensure that every countertop we install is exactly in line with the digital measurements we take at the beginning of the process. Our quality control manager will sign off on the project prior to shipping, and then our uniformed team will install your countertops in a timely, professional manner. We complete your project by filling out a quality installation checklist and answering any final questions you may have.
